At the halfway mark of 2006 with 876 owners between Tesoro®, Tesoro Preserve and The Tesoro Beach Club Villas, there are many new happenings to report.

A drive through Tesoro recently highlights the volume of construction underway.  On the West side of Tesoro, there are 127 homes either under construction or completed, 25 of which are beautifully appointed, furnished model homes.  Because these model homes reflect popular architectural styles, elaborate custom indoor & outdoor living spaces and luxurious furnishings, they have become a great resource to Tesoro owners in the process of planning or designing their dream homes.  For those unable to tour the models in person, a virtual walk-through is available here.

The face of Tesoro continues to change as new families move in with each passing month.  The Club is fulfilling social calendars by offering a wide variety of activities including and beyond golf.  Recently several Tesoro owners participated in a Club-sponsored deep sea fishing tournament, where the winning boat caught four sailfish.  (Stuart, FL is the sailfish capital of the world).  And one of the newest and most popular events is our Friday Night Gatherings, which are held each week in a different model home at Tesoro.  Owners are invited to drop in and meet other neighbors in a relaxed and casual atmosphere at these events. 

Amenity and infrastructure development throughout Tesoro is proceeding at a feverish pace.  Here are some highlights:

  • Curbing work on all East Side streets (offered Fall 2005) are completed and prepared for paving
  • Tesoro’s second championship golf course, designed by Tom Watson, is under construction.  The green and bunker complexes on many of the holes are visible on property.
  • The Swim & Racquet Club is well under construction with the tennis courts and the temporary spa and fitness center due to open this Fall.
  • The final phase of the Tesoro Clubhouse is underway.  With the 2nd floor slab poured, the Clubhouse completion is on pace for a fall 2007 Grand Opening
  • Tesoro’s sales team and discovery office will relocate to a state-of-the-art presentation center adjacent to Tesoro’s main entrance.  The new sales center will provide a world-class setting from which to serve Tesoro owners, as well as new clients interested in participating in the Tesoro lifestyle
  • Construction on the roads and utilities at Tesoro Preserve is fully underway.  Two beautiful homes are completed on the island with an additional two under construction.  Six pre-sold homes will begin construction on the mainland within 90 days
  • Site clearing, landscape beautification and signage are present at the Tesoro Beach Club site on A1A as construction begins on the first luxury condominium building
  • An observation deck with beach walk over is also planned for the enjoyment of Tesoro owners and new clients.

Equally impressive to the incredible pace of Tesoro development is the commercial endeavor directly outside its gates.  The projects which bring significant value and immeasurable increase to overall quality of life for Tesoro residents include:

  •  The Tesoro Florida Turnpike exchange scheduled to open by the end of 2006 will afford Tesoro owners easy access to the Turnpike and a direct route into Palm Beach.
  • Across the street from the Tesoro entrance the Becker Commons commercial center is under construction.  Phase I includes a Publix grocery store, restaurant and coffee shop
